I tried the fresh blueberry cake and the lemon drizzle cake, both of which were delightful. Finding good vegan gluten-free cake can be a challenge, so this was a real treat, especially when paired with a coconut milk latte. The interior of the coffee shop is beautifully decorated in a modern and hip style. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, offering a variety of vegan, gluten-free, and breakfast dishes as well as a selection of soft drinks and teas. They also sell plants, which is a nice touch. This place reminds me of my travels to Berlin and Poland, where coffee shops like this are quite popular. I am looking forward to returning and trying the Buddha dishes and the katsu curry. For anyone looking for a new spot to visit regularly, the outdoor seating area is also very cool.

From tasty, freshly cooked meals to friendly service and amazing coffee and pastries, Roots has it all. Not to mention, if you have a love for houseplants, you'll be tempted to leave with one every visit. Our visits to Roots are the highlight of our week, especially during these uncertain times.
