Description

This restaurant in Chesham has received a mix of reviews. While some customers found the food to be average and bland, others enjoyed delicious meals and appreciated the friendly staff. There were complaints about uncooked rice and lacking seafood, with an unfortunate report of food poisoning. However, others praised the authentic Thai flavors and accommodating service, especially for children. The restaurant seems to be popular and welcoming, with reasonable prices. Overall, it appears to be a hit or miss experience depending on personal preferences and expectations. Having returned from holiday in Thailand where I had Eaten such a variety of Thai dishes I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in the high street while shopping at the local Wednesday market.I succeeded obtaining a table and was surprised to see that it was run by ex Thai staff of the Queens Head Where I also enjoyed Thai food.I ordered a jungle curry (phet phet phet Thai for very hot and spicy plus a starter of Thai fish cakes the food was delicious and made to my requirements.the service was excellent and friendly and the drinks menu allowed me to enjoy my favourite Thai beer.I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes real Thai food or those wishing to experience the the taste of Thailand.

Chesham lacks good dining venues but I was pleased to see this restaurant open in the town centre. The menu is comprehensive and the food freshly prepared and tasty. We dined (party of 6) on a busy Saturday night and making allowance for this I was reluctant to mark the restaurant down. However, I must warn you that there is a two sitting policy on busy nights where you are encouraged to sit down at either 7.00 or 9.00 pm which is a little rushed especially when our orders were not taken until 7.20! Definitely no time for a dessert or coffee and we were hurried out to make way for the second sitters. This could lose custom which is a precious commodity in Chesham so make sure you don't waste any time... Nevertheless worth a visit and hopefully the family will continue to prosper.

The family who used to run the Thai restaurant in the Queens Head Chesham have moved to new premises on the high street, offering the same menu in slightly more spacious surroundings. Great food and friendly service.

Had a really lovely meal here before I went to the theatre. We shared a platter and a prawn pad thai. Very generous portions, very flavoursome and good value for money. Staff were lovely and friendly
