The food was absolutely delicious, featuring generous portions that were served promptly. The prices were reasonable, and the menu offered a good variety, accommodating vegan and other dietary needs. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful, historic English village pub with a lot of character. It became quite busy within half an hour of our arrival, which speaks to its popularity. There are several cozy rooms for dining, along with outdoor tables in the garden, an open fire, and ample parking. We will definitely be returning!

There's plenty of outdoor space and additional parking nearby, which is very convenient. The food was great, with generous portion sizes. However, I must dock a star for the service; waiting 90 minutes to be served on a bank holiday is excessive.
