Wander - Chico
Wander
Description
A popular, home‑made food truck serving generous, flavorful sandwiches, mac-and-cheese and rotating specials with an eclectic twist. High-quality rolls, fresh grill-to-order dishes and friendly staff make it a go-to for markets, events and catering. Vegetarians have notable options and portions are wallet-friendly. Occasional inconsistencies — an over-pickled topping, a dry cookie and rare cleanliness lapses — temper an otherwise reliably tasty, well-priced experience.

We had to wait a bit for a table, which is usually a good sign since the restaurant is quite popular. The food arrived quickly and was clearly fresh off the grill, still piping hot. It was absolutely fantastic, and the portions were generous. Three out of the five of us ordered the vegetable hash with scrambled eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly to our liking and tasted amazing! The sourdough toast was thick, soft, and had just the right crunch. The vegetables were full of flavor and provided a delightful mix of textures. The service was excellent, although our server seemed a bit sleepy or tired when he first took our order. However, this did not detract from our experience at all. I enjoyed every bite! I can’t wait to come back to this restaurant again and again.
I had my first experience at this food truck located near Secret Trail Brewing Co. The man who took our order and made our food was friendly, kind, and had a wonderful sense of humor. The sandwiches came on high-quality rolls that were heated to the perfect temperature and well-seasoned. The pulled pork had a delightful hint of cumin—definitely not dull. It was absolutely delicious! I'm looking forward to trying everything else on the menu.
I ordered food for a customer lunch today. Wraps and the famous Mac n Cheese. All the food was to-die-for. Lots of happy bellies and plenty of food for everyone. I highly recommend!
This food truck offers the most incredible and unique nachos I've ever had—nachos made with polenta! Simply fantastic!
You can always count on Wander to serve insanely delicious grub, with an eclectic twist. The Slow Poke Sammy is my favorite, not just a awesome pulled pork sandwich, it 's garnished with red cabbage for a bit of crunch and a truly unique flavor. If you order it bearded the will add the veggies from the Bearded Lady which is an excellent vegetarian sandwich option.
