What Marian Johnson doesn't like about Bootleg Bbq:
My husband and I ordered the sampler plate (3 meats, 3 sides for $25). We tried the pork chop, tri-tip, and ribs, along with garlic smashed potatoes, smoked mac and cheese, and coleslaw. All three meats were delicious and cooked perfectly. The pork chop was massive, juicy, and tender. The ribs were so tender that the meat fell off the bone. This place is way better than smoking Mo’s it’s one of the best bbq places I’ve been to ever get the Mac and cheese and some ribs
Good service and the owner is very easy to talk to. His food is fair priced and the rub/bbq sauce is extremely tasty. I will be back.

By fare the best and cheapest meal I had in all of chico. The pulled pork amazing.
What a pleasant surprise! The BBQ here is fantastic, and the pig dog is absolutely delicious. The value for the price is outstanding. We will definitely be coming back here again.
