I am not very familiar with the history of sushi in Chicago. Having grown up in Toronto and London (Ontario, not England) and later moving to Atlanta and New York, can you really blame me? Stepping outside of one's comfort zone, especially when it comes to food, can be quite challenging. Influenced by food experts like Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern, I am inspired by their embrace of unique dining experiences.
The best sushi in Chicago can be found at Toro. I have tried sushi restaurants all over the city, but I always find myself returning to Toro. The owner, Mitch, is a talented genius. My only complaint is that I wish they were open for longer hours.
