Toro Sushi - Chicago

This sushi is excellent. I can tell they put a lot of care in to their recipes. Everything has great flavor and is reasonably priced. Very thankful to have discovered a place like this so close to where I live!Food: 5/5

I love sushi. I mean LOVE it, I could eat it for every meal. Having grown up in California and spent a portion of my life in Hawaii I am spoiled so I was thrilled when I moved near by Toro because its one of my favorites. Fun, unique flavor combonations for the rolls and just such a great cozy atmosphere. Its bYOB so make sure to visit the liquor store across the street on yuor way in and if a spot is open at the sushi bar grab it, the guys who work there are really great and all the servers are nice.

On the cheaper side. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Nice for a quick bite during the week, good sushi!

I had 3 rolls. All yum! I asked for no crunch or mayo and they came out perfectly! The fish was fresh and the ambiance was nice! I arrived at 5:15 and sat right down. I would definitely go back!

Service was awful, we had to wait 25 minutes after our appetizer for our sushi rolls! And when they finally arrived, one did not look as advertised- it was a single piece of shrimp with some toppings- we were charged for a full specialty maki. I was so looking forward to coming here but will not be returning.
