During a visit to Pilsen, my love and I stumbled upon Taqueria Los Alamos. We decided to check it out for a weekend lunch. The interior has a basic appearance. I had to ask about going to wash my hands in the men's room as there was a sign implying that it was under maintenance, but the woman said it was OK to go in. They’re always open but the door is always locked when this one guy is working… I literally try to get dinner every day but he never unlocks the door…

Not sure if there was a language barrier, as I asked for two cups of water, but the woman charged me for two bottles of water. The food was pretty good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The taco al pastor might have been the best bite, followed by the chorizo gordita. I had a few nibbles of my love's burrito and it's a solid selection.
This place is great! The chips come out hot and the gorditas are delicious.
