Was Anonym at SoJu BBQ a mag?
Super small yet very aesthetic place. Out waiter was also our cook! Small business with really good food that works in pretty large portions. Would definitely go back again View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about SoJu BBQ:
good eating, courteous staff, but they brought all food to separate times. it is sucking to wait (if you eat cold) for everyone to get their dish. When my whole food came, I was already full of food. but friendly staff. View all feedback.
Food was so bomb I absolutely loved it, also loved that they had halal options on the menu since it it so hard to find authentic halal Korean in Chicago. The place itself is quite small and it usually very full so make sure you reserve before hand and skip the hour wait.
Cured my hunger pangs immediately. The brisket didn’t make it but this bulgogi and spicy chicken on the sampler did. Halal, healthy, and yummy.
I recently visited the restaurant and ordered the bulgogi with rice. It was delicious, but I found it to be a bit too salty for my taste due to the excessive amount of soy sauce.
Absolutely fantastic food and reasonably priced for Korean BBQ. I particularly enjoyed the brisket and will be back.
Halal Korean BBQ This is one of the rare places that has ample halal options on their menu, so you can easily come back for multiple visits. With a busy restaurant turn around time was great, the servers were on top of it. The food was delicious with authentic Korean flavors. Roy Choi would be proud.
