Wow, this meal was a real treat for a nomadic Asian couple craving authentic Thai food. What Scott Caruso doesn't like about Silli Kori:
Dishes are totally inconsistent one day to the next. Sometimes it’s been good, others terrible, but you never know what you’re going to get. When there’s so many other options to choose from, I wouldn’t recommend Silli Kori for standard Thai.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.
This was our first trip to silli kori and eating was very good – perhaps one of the best pad Thai dishes I had – but the place seemed a little disorganized. the manager was very helpful, but I think they were understated, which is now everywhere. but the place was only half busy and they don't have paper menus so they study the website before they go. I would give them a try only for the authentic food.
Great food! we enjoyed it very much. not many tables, so very cozy.
Wow, this meal was a real tasty bite for a nomadic Asian couple who desires authentic Thai food. we had our fair share of fusion in chicago (restaurants with menus including thai sushi dimsum, and wanted only some of these spicy fish sauce tasted in our evening meal. silli koori has a beautiful terrace in front and while they are neighboring to some lively pubs, they are relatiw shielded in front of the street noise. we enjoyed the music we have heard and have conversed in our normal volumes. our server was very friendly and helpful when we had to ask the menu. she even brought out a candle from inside for us! we ordered the chicken wings as an app, and for the escape we got the sohn in law, crispy reissalat and the khao soi. wow, we were blown away from everything. the salat was my personal favorite with the crispy rice, packed in a fresh salad leaf to compensate for the bite of the filling. my partner dedicated to the khao soi, we usually eat our meals family style, but it was clear who enjoyed more. I also loved the khao soi, but was more in the mood for crunchy, so I nailed on some of the creamy noodles with fried pieces on top, and let them have the rest. the eggs were tasty and served with some well seasoned ground bark. we were too full to finish it during dinner and polished it to lunch the next day! if they look for something really tasteful and not only tofu pad thai for their next day, please give silli koori a try. we were transported back in our month in chiang mai for the course of our meal. it really did our weekend. we were just as happy when we had fallen in alinea in the night before.
The food and service is excellent. The summer option to eat outdoors is an added perk as well. Great cocktails!
Great food. Ordered the red and green curries and they were so tasty! This place is worth the money. Would definitely revisits
