Visited Rangoli Indian Cuisine at their North Avenue location for dinner. The staff was very friendly and made the whole experience feel welcoming. We ordered a variety of dishes, and a few things really stood out especially the Gobi Manchurian, tadka daal, and the desserts. The gulab jamun and mango kulfi were both a great way to end the meal. They offer a nice range of vegetarian options, and with two locations in Chicago, it’s a convenient spot to check out if you’re into Indian cuisine. Great quality food; good flavors! Had lunch here and will definitely come back.
Cafeteria quality food with small portions at ridiculously high prices. $17.50 for overcooked butter chicken, $4.50 for a single piece of dry garlic naan, and $6 for two flavorless samosas. The only thing going for this place was the chutney for the samosa. You are better off getting Costco or Trader Joe’s butter chicken and naan for a fraction of the price and significantly better flavor and quality.
