RJ Grunts...the home of the original salad bar, it's always a great time. Their service is outstanding, the staff is friendly, and tastiness of the food is awesome. We recently went there on our anniversary dinner with our teenage kids and they were great. been there many times over the years, but the meal the other night is not at all enjoyable.Price quality not balanced. The meals were well plated with gobs of french fries etc but the taste wasnt the same as in past years.The salad bar was alright and not much change over the past several years.Not the same place it used to be Im sorry to say.The lady waitstaff was unattentive and not very good. Slow service. We arrived at 430pm—Our meals were cold. Server brought us hotter French fries.

Out sever Daniel was great. Very friendly and took good care of us. Good food and nice vibes in the place.
Met two family members for a casual lunch. Hadn 't seen them in awhile. Had a lovely time at R. J. Grunts. We all ordered burgers and loved them. Arrived about 45 minutes early. No problem. Got a booth in the window so we could enjoy seeing Lincoln Park across the street. Great waitress Sam. Grunts is small and can be very busy. This time it wasn 't. Crowd built slowly as lunch hour passed noon. Great time to go. Great service and great burgers!
