Izzy, the bartender, is such a friendly great guy! His drinks are amazing too. The food was DOPE. Place is cute too! Can’t wait to go back with my friends
High-energy, authentic Mexican restaurant that’s become a go-to recommendation. Plus downstairs is one of the best stocked mezcal bars in the city.
I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at this restaurant. While the food was quite good, everything else fell short. The service was dreadful. Instead of the regular table I reserved, they placed us at a high-top in the bar area. And did I mention how poor our waitress was? She forgot half of our order and failed to check on us at any point during the meal. When she made mistakes, she never offered an apology. The drinks, including the espresso, were also disappointing—some were practically undrinkable. Additionally, the service was incredibly slow, and the portions were small and difficult to share, even though they’re meant to be small plates. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I found it to be overpriced for the portion sizes, and the food wasn't very good. Although it was a charming place, I wouldn't choose to return.
