Quesabirria Jalisco Tacos - Chicago

Great flavor, definitely best birria. Worth the 3 hour drive!!!

Just finished their tacos, sitting in some random persons parking space in the alley behind the restaurant on Sunday, and I LOVE IT. My wife and I shared the 4 pack beef, and these were the best I have ever had. The tacos were crisp, beef was braised falling apart in eat bite, cheese was melted and stretchy, and the consomé was the perfect pairing for the crispy shells. The onion and cilantro were the perfect toppings. Everything was so flavorful, not like other places where you need salsa. If you do try their salsa, the green one is delicious with the right amount of kick. Do yourself a favor and go there. It's a small minority woman owned business. The parking is rough, but be a true chicagoan and make it work. If you're lucky enough to get a table, I'm sure it's great. We just chose to eat in the car. We will definitely be back for more! No pictures because we ate it all too quick

QuesaBirria serves the best birria tacos and consumé in Chicago!! As I was looking in the Pilsen area for restaurants, I happened upon this place and it has mostly 5 star reviews for a reason. It was pretty quick given the amount of orders they had and you get so much food for the very reasonable price. I shared a 4 pack with my husband and after the 1 each, we were just eating the other because it tasted good. So much flavor between the meat, the cheese, the sauces and the consume. The service makes you feel like family from the time you walk in till you leave. Appreciate the people and the vibes, you don't get service like that anymore. Go here go here go here!
