I’ve visited this place in different occasions with friends for brunch. Definitely enjoy the food and the drinks! The only downside about this place, is the inattentive service you might receive from staff if you’re a young adult. My friends and I usually leave at least a 20% tip but that doesn’t seem to make a difference every time we go back. We’ve had occasions during which the place was not busy and we still didn... Never been here and NEVER will word on the street the owner don’t like paying his employees how does it feel to abuse people who come to this country for a better opportunity in life. Get over yourself and pay what you owe to that young lady! And others as I hear she’s not the first one this has happen to. Great little basement bar and kitchen, with a nice ambience and super friendly staff. I’m new to tacos so followed the waiter’s suggestion, washed down with a local IPA. Would thoroughly recommend.
The **** Mary was tasty, especially with the serrano infused tequila, they garnish it with lime, a slice of cucumber, several peppers, a sweet pickle, and a mound of fried onion, it was delicious. The Torta Cochinito Pibil was well seasoned, as well as the diced potatoes. My only complaint is they don't have much of a variety of dishes, but their drink menu is creative any plenty of different beers, mixed drinks, and specialty cocktails.

Had no expectations of this place as a friend invited me for brunch here and have not had a brunch in Pilsen yet. I was blown away but the great service, three mimosa and entree deal (I think $30? , and overall vibes. My chilaquiles were excellent. I was honestly reminiscing about them this morning so I feel like I'd wanna go back sometime soon just to get them again. I enjoyed the calavera/Día De Los Muertos vibes here. Even the bathroom was dark and had a little candle on the floor that made it smell woody and clean. I would love to sit at the bar next time since it was way too bright near the front end by the window.
It's jumping and definitely busy here on a Saturday night. The waitresses are swamped so make sure to place all your order in at once. For those who like sweet drinks, highly recommend not your mother's horchata cocktail!
