seriously good. I drove off the far north side to get my own birthday cake and a friend said it was the perfect "cancake ice ratio we ate it for 4 days because it was so good and stayed perfect in the freezer. of course I had to take a cone. it is a chicagoer tradition. if they can't make it 92nd and western, then the ice lkw will stalk in summer. Love this place! the staff is friendly and fast. lines can be long, but they wake through them and wait is never long. ices is delicious and worth the ride for me. a little expensive, but every penny worth it!
One of the best summer scents in the south. open for 95 years they serve the largest combination of ice creams that are ever combined. Make sure to grab many serviettes or bring wet wipes as if it is hot, they tend to get messy.

Wow, such a nice experience. I tried the rainbow cone which was interestingly delicious and the cake batter. Both were really good. Staff was very friendly. Fresh donuts were being made. Great for kids and groups.
This place is a Southside STAPLE. And with good reason. On the same corner and lot for 95+ years and with the same recipe. Nothing beats Rainbow Cone in the summer. Even if the legendary isn't for you the flavors just BY THEMSELVES trump any ice cream out there. Support local. Taste a legend.
