Description

Eataly Chicago is a bustling multi-level market and dining destination where daily-made mozzarella, fresh-baked bread, hand-rolled pasta and wood-fired pizzas share space with an acclaimed Nutella café, strong coffee and an impressive wine and import selection. Attentive service and quick-moving lines keep visits smooth despite crowded, tight seating. Families are accommodated with high chairs and takeout/dessert-to-go options. It’s a lively, sensory experience for shoppers and food lovers, though accessibility and seating can be limited.

An incredible, all-encompassing Italian experience awaits you here, featuring an extensive variety of Italian dishes, wines, cheeses, meats, and other culinary delights. The Neapolitan pizza is a must-try, and the cheeses are exceptional. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in their olive oil tasting as well! With numerous options across pasta, antipasti, pizza, and desserts, this restaurant offers a fantastic immersion into Italian culinary culture. It's definitely worth a visit for both dining and shopping.

We enjoyed several fantastic meals here, along with some great shopping. I ordered a creamy pasta with prosciutto, and it was incredible! Being lactose intolerant, I knew I would regret it later, but it was absolutely worth it (a bit too much information, perhaps, but it really was that good). My daughter opted for a simple pasta with red sauce, which turned out to be delightful as well. The pasta was fresh and tasty!

I had a wonderful dinner at Eataly! The upstairs area has transformed into one large pizza and pasta restaurant, replacing several smaller eateries that used to include a seafood spot and a beer bar. Everything we ordered was fresh and well-executed. Our server, Joel, provided excellent service. We enjoyed the fried calamari and shrimp (which were delicious), the fried chicken, and the veal-stuffed pasta. I also picked up a couple of desserts to go from the café on the first floor. It’s such a delightful place to shop and dine!

I always make it a point to visit Chicago’s Eataly for any city trips. Always go for their always fresh bread baked on site. Get some great imported wine, and some cheese, especially the mozzarella which they ALSO make on site daily. The ambiance of this place is also truly special. Walking around and seeing all these amazing ingredients. Worth your time and money.
