a pretty average fast food joint. definitely one of the more casual spots in the neighborhood, which I appreciate. I visited this restaurant as part of a foodie tour, and it has a delightful old-school fast food vibe. The Chicago dog is a must-try; it truly captures the essence of an iconic hot dog, loaded with everything you could want and executed perfectly! The menu is extensive, and I’m eager to sample more items from it. The staff is friendly and works efficiently. As for pricing, it’s exactly what you would expect.
Once the door opened, we were welcomed with friendly smiles and chose two classic Chicago dishes: the Polish and Italian sausages. The hot dogs were simply outstanding, and the prices were quite reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. If you find yourself in Chicago, don’t miss out on this small, locally owned establishment that has been serving delicious food for over 70 years!
I had my first Chicago-style hot dog, and it was delicious! This place has a bit of a hole-in-the-wall vibe, and it might actually be one, but the food definitely makes up for it. I visited on a late Saturday night during the summer and ordered two hot dogs, and they were fantastic!
This place hasn't changed since I was in HIGH SCHOOL.. FOOD IS ALWAYS THE BEST VIENNA IN DOWNTOWN CHICAGO. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Italian Beef. Whenever I'm in Town this is a place is a MUST VISIT and Have a DAGWOOD.. BEST BURGERS BEST FRIES. AWESOME SHAKES.. NOBL1
