Description

Nestled in Chicago’s bustling loop, Miller's Pub offers a traditional pub atmosphere, celebrated for its Chicago-style burgers, ribs, and prime rib. While many patrons rave about the friendly service, unique cocktails like the Tom and Jerry, and flavorful dishes, others have encountered less hospitable staff and billing issues. Décor reflects a festive spirit, but the noise level can be high, making it a lively dining spot. Overall, the experience varies—while excellent food and attentive service are celebrated, some visitors yearn for improvements in service consistency and vegetarian options. Making a reservation is advisable.

If you eat meat, maybe this place is amazing. But as a vegetarian it’s not worth going to. I didn’t know it was so meat centered when I walked in, and I was starving so I figured whatever I’ll try the spanikopita and rice pilaf and get some mashed potatoes. The spanikopita was not terrible; but there was only a whisper of pastry and mostly just spinach. It’s spiced well though and not too greasy. The rice pilaf is not a pilaf, not a casserole of any variety, it is cheap, dry, somewhat seasoned rice that seems like it’s from a cardboard box kit. Calling dry, loose rice a pilaf is crazy. The side of mashed potatoes was so small I almost laughed when it came out, especially for being $6 or so. It was a portion maybe six or eight small bites if that. The service was quick and efficient, the atmosphere is kinda old timey but also feels a little like a chain steakhouse. Again, maybe you eat meat it is fantastic but as a vegetarian just avoid. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian options: Tony vegetarian option selection, the side I ordered was so tiny it was crazy and $6.

Its a Chicago institution!!! I've been here many times in my Chicago years. So was a bit disappointed at the food and menu choice this last visit. Either I remember it being better or the quality has gone down a bit. Was Good. Not great. Still the atmosphere of old Chicago, large Bar area, and great drink choices still make this a worthy visit. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $30–40

First and foremost, make sure to make a reservation! We stayed next door at the Palmer Hotel. The food, service, and decor were all excellent! Don't miss the Tom and Jerry cocktail—it's unique and delicious! We tried the ribs and prime rib, both of which were fantastic! The bartenders were friendly and had a great sense of humor. This place is a must-visit when you're in Chicago!

The most awful pub I've been in. More like Guantanamo Bay than a pub. Every single staff member treats you as if you are a huge nuisance for coming in. The people at the door scowl at you, and as soon as we sat at the bar, the barwoman said “You need to order something to sit there.” when we challenged her and the staff, she ran away. The staff at the door were miserable and did not care and seemed to think it's normal behaviour to be totally miserable
