Local Option lives up to its name as a true local spot! It doesn't pretend to be anything fancy; it's a cozy hole-in-the-wall bar offering a handful of tasty bar food options. I tried the beef and cheddar sandwich, and I found it to be quite good for a bar! They also boast a nice selection of 10 to 15 beers on tap. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the neighborhood!

Just moved to Chicago and this place was my first return visit. It’s called Local Option for a reason.Excellent service, AAA+ bartender, and phenomenal food! I’ve ordered about half the menu by now and everything so far has been noteworthy.If you like McDonald’s chicken nuggets then you have just completed your pilgrimage.Awesome beer, food, and music.Highly regarded by the locals.
