What User doesn't like about Kizin Creole:
Extremely long wait for everything. Waited 2 hours for food. Air Confirnation was not on for the first hour. Even had to wait 30 minutes for food we ordered to take home and it was not good. Horrible service and mediocre food. Not worth your dime or time. View all feedback.
The dining experience was absolutely incredible! This is probably the best Haitian food we have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the curry goat with red beans and rice as my main dish, and it did not disappoint. I usually hesitate to order new dishes, as the flavors have to be just right for me to enjoy it. However, the meal was amazing and we both enjoyed it until we were full. They also had some of my favorite Haitian drinks made with fresh fruits. Unable to decide on one, they surprised me by combining passion fruit and soursop to create a delicious drink. They mentioned that they usually do not mix these two flavors, but it turned out to be a successful experiment. They added a hint of water to reduce the bitterness and it was perfect. The next time we visit Chicago, we will definitely be returning!
The Haitian dish at this restaurant is incredible! I traveled for nearly 30 minutes just to dine here. I highly recommend it.
