Hub 51 - Chicago
Hub 51
Description
Located in Terminal 5, this airport bar-restaurant offers craft cocktails, a strong beer and wine selection, and occasional standout dishes, but inconsistent food quality and service temper the experience. Talented mixologists and attentive staff receive praise, yet guests also report long waits, rude encounters, unclear drink pricing and uneven seating/hostess procedures. Prices feel high for the variability. Best for travelers seeking a pre-flight cocktail, with expectations managed around service and kitchen consistency.

Overall, I was not impressed. The waitress failed to check in on how the food was, didn't ask if I needed anything, neglected to refill my drink, and forgot to bring silverware. While the restaurant was somewhat busy, there were enough staff members that this should not have occurred. It actually took longer for me to receive my check than it did to order and eat my meal. The menu was also very limited. I cannot recommend this place; I suggest considering other options before choosing to dine here.
Absolute rip off. The food was rubbish and for whatever reason they have no prices on their drink menu, I'm assuming they just charge whatever they want.Expensive and rubbishFood: 1/5
The **** Mary didn’t have a lot of love- just tiny pieces of lemon and lime after asking for itThe fries are goodThe homemade tomato salsa tasted like chipotle only. If you live that it is probably fine. The service is slow and not attentive at all.But the spaces to sit are much better than all others right now.Well, not many choice here during the renovation.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. It's by far the worst dining experience I've had. The service was terrible; the waitress was extremely rude, and the food took forever to arrive. There are much better restaurants out there that offer good food without ruining your mood before a trip!
