I discovered this restaurant thanks to Handlebar across the street, and I have to say, their chocolate cake may just be the best I've ever had. It seems they sell out of cupcakes and other walk-in items quickly, and it's easy to see why. The chocolate pearls are a unique touch that really enhances the dessert, I highly recommend trying it! Not dog friendly. I placed my order online and paid for it two weeks ago. Came to pick it up today with my puppy. I completely understand they aren’t able to service with a dog indoors but they weren’t even willing to hand me my paid order outside because I had a dog. I discovered this restaurant by chance while walking down the street, and I have to say, it might just be the best chocolate cake I've ever tasted. They also offer delicious cupcakes and other treats that are definitely worth trying. The chocolate decorations are unique and add a lovely texture to the dessert. I highly recommend this place!
As always, the experience was fantastic. The cookies are outstanding and the cupcakes are incredibly delicious. The aroma in the place is heavenly when you walk in, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive.
This is the best chocolate cake and cupcake I have ever tasted. The frosting is out of this world. Pro Tip: You can also find their chocolate cake on the menu at The Handlebar if Bake is not open.
Flat out best bakery in Chicago. Ive come here probably 30 times and I won’t be stopping.
