Hopleaf Bar, located in Chicago, offers a wide variety of delicious craft beers and creative modern American dishes in a warm and inviting setting. Start off your meal with options like cauliflower arancini risotto balls with ancho-Buffalo sauce and blue cheese, or fried veal sweetbreads with caper butter, pistachio, and pickled shallots. For main dishes, try the grilled steak frites with lemon-horseradish butter, pan-seared Coho salmon with tarragon-pumpkin seed pesto, pickled grapes, and mushroom-squash broth, or the falafel Belgian waffle with lima bean and kale ragout and cauliflower baba ganoush. Sandwich options include the slow-roasted duck reuben and the fried catfish hoagie with remoulade and lemon-tabasco pickles, perfect with a cold beer. Hopleaf is a classic restaurant bar in chicago. with a phenomenal beer list, wine options on the tap and tasty eating that is where they want to be every night of the week.
One of my favorite places in Chicago. Come for the beer, stay for the food. Had the half Amish chicken took me to heaven and back and so there's no picture here.
If you want an amazing selection of beer this is the place to go. They have beers from all over the world and knowledgeable staff that can help you decide or explore tasting different beers.
Although the menu centers meat mussels, do not miss the great vegetarian options, including the CB J sandwich on sourdough; Homemade cashew butter, fig jam, rosette cheese; pan-fried .
