Gather has a sophisticated sexy yet welcoming atmosphere, along with a creative, varied menu, and very attentive service. Appreciated how the waiter explained the way ordering works at the outset, which made navigating the tantalizing menu that much easier. Recommend sharing the steak tartare, pork belly, the gem salad. There is a paid parking lot on the side, so that was convenient. We had reservations. The ambience inside was amazing, We were a party of three. We tried the Whipped Ricotta, Glazed baby carrots, Pappardelle, and Braised Short Rib. The ricotta and baby carrots were really good. The pasta was cooked well but it lacked any flavor. When a server suggests sharing dishes and they'll course it out, I feel like I'm in heaven. I feel pampered. The portions are small enough to get through a sizable percentage of the menu especially when sharing each course. We even got dessert which is so rare for me. Every dish felt noteworthy.
The food is amazing. The waitstaff is awesome. The environment is lovely. I celebrated my birthday here with some friends and it was the perfect meal and perfect place to celebrate.
FINALLY!!!! A place which cooks everything from scratch. Delicious food. You’ll want to lick the plate. They can accommodate gluten free with no difficulty and are happy to do it. You don’t feel like you’re a bother. The wine selections are first rate as well. Gather is not a large place and it fills quickly, especially if there’s a performance across the street. Come early like we did at 4:30. Or make a reservation to be sure. The atmosphere is a little too dark for my taste, but it can be adjusted if requested. And best of all, for those GF folks, the desserts are awesome. Truly unique. No crème brûlée to be found anywhere. Yay! (So sick of crème brûlée)
