Eathai - Chicago
Eathai
Description
Hidden in Chicago is a family-run Thai spot that's earned praise for authentic flavors, speedy friendly service, and a charming, elephant-themed dining room. Standouts include pad Thai, drunken noodles, bacon-duck appetizer and bubble tea, with clean, welcoming service and daily specials. Occasional inconsistency surfaces—some dishes arrive bland or under-seasoned, spice levels run mild, and there have been flubbed textures (soupy curry, clumped rice). Still, it's a popular neighborhood gem worth trying for both takeout and dine-in.

This place serves outstanding Thai food and is truly a hidden gem! It's my top choice for Thai cuisine; their pad Thai is the best I've ever tasted. The drunken noodles are fantastic too—definitely a must-try in Logan Square!
I have to say, this has quickly become my favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. I visited today with my mom for our first experience, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for fantastic, authentic cuisine, this is the spot for you. The service was exceptional, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. I will definitely be ordering from here in the future!
I really enjoyed the drunken noodles, which were made with regular noodles. Unfortunately, I found the khaki soi to be bland and not spicy enough. It could have used a bit more salt and should have been served immediately. However, I'm definitely planning to return.
EaThai is such a cute spot with a cozy atmosphere, great music and amazing value for the portions you get.
