I assumed all Dock locations were closed until I found this one listed among Black-owned restaurants to check out during Black History Month. The service was excellent; the cashier was friendly and efficient. I decided to try the original Dockwich, but I feel like my taste buds have changed over the years. Unfortunately, I found the sandwich lacking in both crispness and flavor. In the past, Dock's served the best fast food fish sandwich compared to any other fast food place. I'm still unsure whether I'll visit this location again or try a different one.

The fish seemed to be cooked in old oil, as I could tell from the taste. I ordered a shrimp po' boy with cheese, but what I received was just four shrimp on a hamburger bun with tomato and hot sauce. I expected more from this place, especially after hearing about it for so long. I'm not sure if I will return anytime soon.

I ordered the Whiteys fish dinner, which was fried hard and disgusting and they gave me no serviettes with my food. my coworker ordered perch-fish and buffalo chickenroll, while I wait for my order, I tried my coworker buffalo chickening roll and I liked it, so I ordered my own egg rolls, they were three for 12, so I ordered three buffalo chicken rolls, but the cash said that they had only two chickens left me so cashier took my order while waiting patiently to prepare my egg rolls. 45 minutes later, I run to the counter and ask how long it takes to take my egg rolls, and I show the classy year my acknowledgement and she says we have already given them their order. at this point I am angry and the other cashier year said that the young lady who took my order there was someone else, so I asked the cashier year to give me my money back, at this point came the manager and apologised and offered to make my egg rolls that were jerk chickening rolls, I am not waiting for spicy food and he gave me so I waited. for my order was the manager excellent to correct the situation, but I will not go back to this facility my fish fried hard and it was terrible.

I could tell the fish was cooked in old grease just from the taste. I ordered a shrimp po' boy with cheese and received only four pieces of shrimp on a hamburger bun with tomatoes and hot sauce. I expected more from this spot, especially since it’s been around for so long. Not sure if I'll be returning.

Street... read more One of the best fish sandwiches left in the city. I love Dock's fish sandwich with cheese. Just call ahead and your order will be ready when you arrive. Street parking is available nearby. The dine-in option is currently closed. I always go out of my way to get food from Dock's because it’s worth the trip every single time.
