I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. The food environment and staff so amazing!
Food was delicious as always. Started off the sambusa platter followed by the Demerara Messob (serves 2). Everything was cooked to perfection. Only complaint would be that we waited over 20 minutes for our Demera Espresso Martinis and had to cancel the order. Besides that food and ambiance wonderful and highly recommended!
Being new to Chicago and Ethiopian food, we would have appreciated a bit more explanation of what was in the food and how to eat it. Everything else was pretty nice with the exception of the noise level. So loud, that conversing was difficult.
Excellent vegan option! We had the sampler and had so many wonderful wholesome flavors. Some were spicy, others not as much, and together they made an incredibly delicious meal. We will be back next time we’re in town- new favorite!
