Description

Dee's Restaurant, founded in 1983, has been a staple of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Led by owner Dee Kang, a Korean-born Chinese woman with a strong heritage in the restaurant industry. From humble beginnings in her family's home restaurant in Korea, Dee's journey took her to Japan at a young age to support her family, eventually leading her to the US to join her older brother in the restaurant business. Starting as a busgirl, Dee worked her way up through various roles in different types of restaurants before realizing her dream with the opening of Dee's Mandarin Sushi Lounge.

DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THE CHOWNOW APP. I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and have generally been pleased with my experiences here. But tonight the app let me place an order while the restaurant was closed…. And it just happened to be a really critical night for me. What app allows this to happen?!? Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Takeaway Price per person: $40–50

My family and I have been eating food from Dee's restaurant since 1988! It's my favorite Chinese comfort food! So many great memories and such delish food. I hope this restaurant continues serving this neighborhood for many more years to come. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Dee's is a true gem and we love it. The restaurant portion is currently closed, but I am glad that they're still open for take out.

We ordered Mongolian beef over the phone, but what we received was very salty, flour-coated meat that I suspect was pork. As a fan of Mongolian beef, I was disappointed to find that this was nothing like what I expected. A few hours later, I ended up with stomach cramps.
