Chi Burger - Chicago
Chi Burger
Description
At this beloved local pizzeria, thin crackerlike crusts and impeccably balanced toppings elevate classic and creative pies. Standout appetizers (calamari, onion rings, poutine), a legendary cookie skillet, and an extensive beer and cocktail list pair with friendly, accommodating service. Perks include late weekend hours, free parking and weekday wine or pizza deals; occasional complaints note pricey portions and sometimes smaller-than-expected delivery pies. The lively, casual atmosphere makes it a favorite for groups, dates and regular pizza nights.

Finally made the trip to Candlelite and it was well worth the visit and then some. To start, the pizza was absolutely perfect in all regards. The sauce, cheese, and toppings distribution was the perfect balance. Everything complimented the next and the restaurant itself is a pretty cool place filled with friendly faces. I'll be back, this may be one of my new favorites right up there with Vito Nick's, Pizza Castle, Obbie's, etc. Great job y'all!
Good thin almost cracker like crust! Ordered the works to go and it was ready in 15 mins!! The service I received both over the phone and in person was AWESOME!!I 'm disappointed tho I didn 't come and dine inside as the vibe at the bar seems casual and fun. A great place to meet up with friends and enjoy some quality pizza!
I don’t often give out 5-star ratings during my friends' monthly pizza nights, but this place truly deserves it. It's a bit of a drive for us, but absolutely worth it. The pizza has a crispy crust that's not too thin or cardboard-like. It's incredibly well-balanced and downright addictive. They offer a nice selection of draft beers, as well as plenty of options in bottles and cans. The onion rings and tater tots are fantastic, too. The service is friendly and accommodating, and there’s free parking available across the street. I wish I could be there right now!
It 's Saturday evening. It 's been a long week. You know the kind not wanting to slave in the kitchen. The leave me alone, I just want my couch pizza kind of night. Despite being comfy, I got up to throw a pizza in the oven. To my dismay this frozen pizza looked really SUS. This was a sign to toss it in the bin, not risk getting sick, order in. Yes, I could make something else, but I wanted pizza. I 've wanted to try Candlelight Chicago for some time now, so there I was, on my phone, building my order... creeping photos on Yelp. I mean c 'mon, we eat with our eyes first, right? Deluxe a coke sounded heavenly. I loved the box it came in. Yes, the box which read If you like pizza, open this box! It was fitting for this occasion because I was hoping this pizza would save my evening. IT. DID. The crust was much thinner than I anticipated but oh my green peppers onions! The toppings did not disappoint call me crazy but this is the best deluxe I 've had. Every bite was balanced with everything there was a pleasant crunch to the green peppers onions. Those two aren 't even my go to toppings but I am now shook. This is god tier pizza. The meats were amazing the shrooms were fresh. All the toppings were fresh. I ate the whole thing don 't judge me. I feel like a fat hamster but I am a happy one. It was amazing, night saving, I would do it again. In the meantime, I had to leave this review because if you 're asking, where is the pizza?! it 's here at Candlelight Chicago.
