Found this gem by accident and I’m hooked. Deliciousness in a baked, flaky crust. Mole con pollo was my favorite ? but all others were delicious as well. Reminded me of my trips to Pachuca and stoping at the pasterias to pick up lunch. What Ana M dislikes about Cafe Pachuca:
My experience was just average. The empanadas were a bit dry for my taste, although I must say the green salsa was quite delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of coffee when we visited, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the customer service was excellent. View all feedback.

Their empanadas are delicious .. the tinga empanada is my favorite with a nice cold brew coffee w/hazelnut flavor. They also have their own coffee there if you don't feel like making your own , but all in all the place is very nice , VERY clean , food 8s excellent and the staff is so kind and welcoming ..
Great customer service and above all delicious pastes! I tried the mole, tinga, chorizo and cheese and potatoes. I don't know which one is my favorite. Oh and the hot chocolate is on point. Thank you for the bonus history lesson.
I have passed by this place a few times, as I in the area always. I stopped by for a light lunch/ snack and was very pleased! I had the black bean, beef and potatoe, along with the Chicken Tinga! I loved them all. I like the spicy green sauce though whiched there were other sauces to choose from. I do like the home-made feel and taste, though I will be honest. I do prefer the fried empandas. But in anycase like many of the other reviewers stated.... this is a good place to check out if you are near North and California for homemade baked empandas!
