So we went the night when it was closed, ignorant. the bar was not on camp, they ran out of certain escapes and laid down a dessert we ordered. the food we received was good, although one of the deer 't completely boiled (the mönch fish.) could have been the case that this is our last night anyway blues.
My friends and I ate on brass monkey Saturday night. the restaurant is beautiful...love the 70s flair! eating was very good. the noise level was, however, unbearable. the restaurant and the bar are a huge room with high ceilings. there is no barrier between the bar (1/2 of the room) and the restaurant (the other 1/2 of the room.) in my opinion, there must be a kind of sound barrier to manage the noise. between the ingenious music (very hard to hear that I could add) and everyone talked it was really hard to hear the people I was with. that's not cool. I think it could be great if you were a tonbarriere tweaking. unfortunately, in the middle time, I won't return and would not recommend it to anyone.
The food was good, but the waitress tried to push me and my friend who doesn't like meat too much. it was quite annoying to say the least. also we did not drink and she also tried to push drinks.
We went to the restaurant on its last night, without realizing it was closing. The bar was not fully stocked, some entrees were sold out, and they forgot to bring us a dessert we ordered. The food we did receive was good, except for the monkfish entree which was undercooked. It seems like they may have been experiencing some last night blues.
