Branko's Submarines - Chicago

I haven't eaten here for a few years. I can't remember when I was eating this last time. but I know it's probably 7 or 8 years. I've been eating a lot of time with a friend of mine since about 2002. we would eat it here all the time if the lady who owns this sandwich place was always nice to us. eating was always good here. I always liked to eat it at this place and I'm sure it's still so good. So they go in here and everything they most likely order will come with a series of pommes.

One of my most favorite places to go in the city of Chicago. This is a warm, family owned restaurant. The food is affordable and always delish, and the place is always superbly clean. They truly value their customers and operate from a place of integrity and grace that is missing from many businesses today. The home feel is further reinforced by the sweet nature of the owner. I 've been coming here for 6 years now, and will support this business as long as they are around... which I hope will be many, many years to come.

The ladies here are so sweet. They treat you like their own children. This is a great place for cheap eats. I usually get the gyros or chicken sandwich both are delicious. It's usually not that busy so you get food fairly fast if you want to take it to go.

Decent sandwich/hot dog place for omnivores. Although they have a selection of vegetarian stuff, it's really just cheese sandwich, falafel and veggie burger. Add in grilled cheese and pepper and egg and omelettes for breakfast. Plus it's close to DePaul so it's kinda expensive. Like a dollar or two more than what I would expect to pay for this food. So, not bad. Three place. But the owner is nice so I added a star for that.
