Nestled in the Logan area, this cozy dive bar exudes charm, particularly with its inviting outdoor patio during warmer months. While it may lack spaciousness for larger gatherings, its energetic atmosphere is enhanced by a fun jukebox and a friendly staff that genuinely engages with patrons. The bar offers a selection of craft cocktails and classic drinks, with rave reviews for the griddled "Best Intentions" burger—a greasy delight paired perfectly with house-made ginger ale. Though it can get crowded, especially on weekends, the authentic vibe and warm community spirit make it a must-visit spot for both locals and travelers.

What Daniela S dislikes about Best Intentions:
It’s small and not good for any big meet ups. It lacks space. The drink was really strong (good thing for some). The draw may be this the charm in the warmer weather with the patio space open. View all feedback.
We found ourselves here after discovering that the bar we initially intended to visit was closed. It turned out to be a pleasant spot to hang out. I really enjoyed the drinks, and the staff was very friendly. As the night progressed, it did get a bit crowded, and there weren't many seats available up front, but that's to be expected in a place like this. I especially loved the old fashioned made with rye, and the scotch had a nice smoky flavor. The canned beers were also good. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but we opted for a rideshare and did some exploring on foot. I would definitely consider returning, though perhaps not on a Friday night when it gets busy.

I really wish I could keep this place a secret! Everything is a perfect 10/10. They serve the best mule in the city!
My favorite cocktail bar in Chicago
Five stars for great dive bars. The staff is friendly, attentive, and appropriately hipster for Logan. The drinks are classic and all well made, but the real gem is the burger. best intentions burger is griddled with mustard and onions and served with a melty American cheese and fresh onions. It's served in a paper hamburger wrapper inside of a paper bag. It's greasy and delicious. Classic flavors in a sack! Get the house made ginger ale on the side and French fries with house sauce They have a … – show
