My mom and I visited this restaurant during a short vacation in Chicago. We ordered a variety of delicious dishes, including the Dr. K Cure All noodle soup, the mandoos, and the Yin and Yang. The food was fantastic! The spice levels were just right, and it was wonderful to enjoy something with a bit of a kick. Since they prepare everything fresh, they also customize the spice levels to your liking. The seasonal vegetables were cooked to perfection. I really wish we had a place like this near home!
I was really excited to try the food here, and it didn't let me down! My fiancée, who is quite picky about vegetables, enjoyed his entrée, which made me happy! I ordered the kimchi tofu patties, and while they were delicious, I must admit the texture was a bit off-putting at first (the tofu is quite soft but combined with lightly cooked vegetables), and I wasn't a fan of the sauce. We shared the dumpling appetizer, the red bean small cake, and ginger apple juice, all of which were delightful. Although it can get pricey if you order an appetizer and dessert, the portions are generous, and we ended up with plenty of leftovers!
The food is delicious, the menu is extensive, and the owner is very nice. They even let you know which dishes contain oil! I will definitely be returning to this place!
I liked that the food was really fresh and hot. The maki came with good portions and it was fast delivery
We ordered from here because of all the high ratings and were really disappointed. Very bland and flavorless food that consisted of mostly steamed or boiled vegetables. I would absolutely stay away from the bibimbap and “dark side of the moon”. Also what Korean restaurant spells bibimbap, “bi bim bop”?? The dumplings would have been great if prepared well. Just a bit too rubbery. The giant red bean cake was fine, but it’s just mochi, not actual cake. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-29
