Long wait times, particularly for drive-thru orders, leave customers frustrated, questioning the establishment's efficiency. Parking shortages exacerbate the situation, especially during busy hours. The overall lack of attention to customer needs, including unresponsive staff and inadequate amenities, paints a troubling picture for this restaurant. Many locals now recommend avoiding Barnards Green, opting instead for more reliable dining options.
We stopped at this restaurant to charge our car, but found that the store was closed due to a card fault. We ended up using the drive-thru without any issues. We then asked if our daughter could use the restroom, as it had been a long drive. Unfortunately, we were met with a rude response from an elderly woman who claimed to be a member of staff. She refused to let us in, stating that they were not a service station. Overall, not the best customer service experience.
This is my second time in two weeks ordering takeout from this drive-thru. The first time, I got home and discovered one burger was missing. The second time, after collecting my order at the drive-thru window and parking in the car park, I realized that both Big Macs and fries were missing from my order. I went back into the store to complain, and after some time, someone finally acknowledged me and replaced the missing items.
I waited 25 minutes for a cup of coffee at this restaurant. After asking where it was, it was fetched from the back and I was told it was my fault because they had called out my order two times. However, I was standing three feet away and my number was never called nor was my coffee brought out. The wait was frustrating enough, but to be blamed for it was rude. This was the first time in many visits to McDonald's that the coffee was actually nice and hot.
We ordered a double quarter pounder and only got served a single. When my girlfriend went to enquire she was told that without a receipt as proof they would do nothing but the machine wasn’t issuing receipts! They had then run out of common sauces. Customer service was non existent. Whilst we were there they had lost another customers order or forgotten about it. Terrible place! A disgrace to the franchise!
Today Itook my 2 grandchildren for a treat at Baynards Green restaurant. First disappointment, no milk shake drinks. Second requested book with Happy Meal got a toy. Third no tomato sauce or serviettes available at the dispenser area. This was followed by a lengthy wait as my order was of a reasonable size and the restaurant was busy so I accept this as I do with the fact food and drinks were cool to cold when order was collected. What was highly noticeable was the number of customers having to return their order as it was incorrect. My first and last visit to this restaurant. Hope this may be of help to others with young children that this restaurant is very much a drive through prioritised facility.
