The restaurant at Westfield Chermside offers a roller-coaster coffee experience, with deep coffee tones and extreme caffeine kicks. While some find the coffee to be strong and beautifully poured, others have reported it as weak and lacking in flavor. Despite some inconsistencies in staff personalities, the majority are fantastic and the prices are reasonable. Overall, the customer service is excellent, and there are promising treat options available. For those looking to give it another try, going for a half-strength coffee may be the way to go. So, whether you're in for a strong flat white or a great atmosphere to enjoy your coffee, this restaurant at Westfield Chermside has something for everyone.

Out with Zaraffas, in with Stellarossa - not some friendly coffee advice, but rather, the state of play when you first stroll into the cash cow that is Westfield Chermside. So, a turn for the best or fate at its worse? Well, certainly not going to make any judgement calls at this stage, but this is a roller-coaster of a coffee ride that, with its deep coffee tones and extreme caffeine kick, 'Jet Lee's' you into the medicine cabinet faster than you can say 'H20'.  With copious amounts of water and Panadol just out of shot, if you want some valid reasons for ever making it back in again, the customer service is always second to none, there looks plenty of promising options treat wise and its a perfect place to stay if you want to quickly access the front car park.  Laying off the 'state of my head' after taking on this barista made beast, the redemptive point here is that if you are brave enough to give it another go, half strength is the way to go. Unless, of course, you really like very strong coffee and headaches - (or can avoid headaches when drinking very strong coffee - then drink your life away!   This was actually my second trip and the first encounter had me thinking it was simply a case of 'great service, might have got an extra slip of coffee.' No Sir, however - in reality, after the same thing happened with a 'no nonsense, straight to the point' Flat White - you realise that's just the way it is. Not for the faint hearted, that's for sure!

Had a great flat white here on a recent visit to catch up with a friend. We both like our coffee strong & this delivered. Was beautifully poured with a great crema & my friend also enjoyed the gluten free cake option

Stopped in for a coffee with hubby. We both ordered regular flat whites. We both found it quite weak and lacking in flavour.  Quite surprised after reading previous reviews.  I like my coffee strong, hubby not so.  We both found the coffee weak.  But my biggest complaint is that we were given our coffee in takeaway cups when we had NOT asked for takeaway. We had, in fact, sat down at a table.  Why add to the environmental cost needlessly? We were not asked if we were having the coffee in, or to go.  The cafe was quite empty so staff weren't too busy to ask. I really prefer my coffee in a proper cup for enjoyment and environmental reasons.  The combination of the weakness and takeaway cup totally ruined it for me, couldn't even be bothered to complain, won't be back.

I placed an order through Uber Eats, and it took over an hour for it to be delivered (this wasn’t the Uber driver’s fault). When I called to inquire about the delay, the person on the other end hung up on me. Service: Delivery.
