Description

Nestled in a converted home in downtown Chelan, this cozy wok-focused spot pairs dim wood-accented interiors and a shaded courtyard with friendly, fast service and an owner who accommodates dietary needs. Large, affordable portions, homemade sauces, and ample vegan and gluten-free choices make it a local favorite, with controllable spice and customizable dishes. Be aware of occasional inconsistencies—shrinking portions, missing sauce or bland beef dishes—as well as cramped indoor seating, limited parking, and marginal A/C on hot days.

Delicious! This is a fantastic place to enjoy a quick meal, with comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors. The food was excellent and was served promptly.

Do I eat here alot and I like the food or I would move on. However, stay away from the beef peanut spicey. One there is no beef, cashews or spice. It really is mundane. Their chicken and rice I had prior was amazing. So maybe they just review the beef dishes.

I have to admit, I wasn't anticipating much given the name and location, but my wife and I ended up having a fantastic meal. The large menu item was ample enough for two people, or enough for leftovers if one person takes it home. We tried the yakisoba noodles with coconut curry and vegetables, paired with a shared coconut water. The meal was absolutely delightful, and dining outdoors in the courtyard was a serene experience, despite being on Woodin Avenue right across from the Chelan High School football field. We hardly noticed the traffic at all. This place definitely has my endorsement and recommendation! We’ll be returning for sure.

If you’re real hungry, come here! Their large portions are very generous and will fill you up real quick. The seating indoors may be a bit cramped but there’s more outside. I arrived when it was mostly empty, no problem picking a spot. It was a real hot day and A/C indoors was barely enough…

However, on our second visit, we noticed that the sauce was less abundant and the portion sizes had shrunk. By the time we returned for our third meal, the portions had decreased even further, and there was no sauce at all. As a result, the dish ended up tasting more like oily noodles than anything else. The exceptional experience we had during our first visit set certain expectations, and we were looking forward to dining here almost every night since the food at fire camp can be quite disappointing. It's frustrating to deal with inconsistencies like this.
