During all the years we’ve visited Chelan, we never tried this restaurant, but this year we decided to give it a shot. The Woodin Noodle Salad and the Smoked Chicken Caesar Salad were both delicious. The staff was friendly, and our food arrived quickly. The front of the restaurant is quite small, but there’s a back room that I didn’t get to see, so I’m not sure how spacious it is. I rated County Line 4 stars because the guitarist/singer was too loud, making it difficult for us to have a conversation.
As for drinks, our table ordered a Bloody Mary, a margarita, and a Tito's and soda. The Bloody Mary was pretty decent and came garnished with beef jerky, salami, a pickle, and an olive. Unfortunately, the margarita was quite disappointing; my friend couldn't even finish it. The Tito's and soda was also underwhelming, as my friend remarked that she couldn't taste any vodka at all. When my friend approached the bar to inquire about her drink, the server responded with quite a bit of unnecessary attitude—she was the same person who had seated us. I typically avoid writing negative reviews because I believe in supporting businesses, but our experience just wasn't enjoyable, so I felt compelled to share. The other servers seemed fine, so I truly hope that others have a better experience than we did.
The service at this restaurant was outstanding—definitely deserving of 5 stars! We ordered several dishes to share: Smoked Mac and Cheese, House Hummus, Roasted Balsamic Brussels Sprouts, and Teriyaki Chicken Skewers. While all the dishes were enjoyable, they didn't quite match the level of the service, so I'd give them 3.5 stars. The Mac and Cheese could use a creamier texture, the hummus packed a strong garlicky punch (so make sure to have breath mints on hand), the Brussels sprouts could be cooked a little longer, and the portions of chicken were on the small side.
For our main course, we ordered two Ahi Poke Bowls, a Smoked Chicken Caesar Salad, and a regular Caesar Salad. I wasn’t aware that the salad came with tomatoes, but they were extremely accommodating and offered to make another one without charge due to my allergy. Overall, the restaurant is fantastic with great seating options—both indoors and outdoors—and the staff is friendly and memorable. It seems to be a family-owned establishment. I would love to visit again when I return to Chelan. The prices are a bit on the higher side depending on what you order, but I truly enjoyed every moment of my time there!
