County Line - Chelan
County Line
Description
Nestled in downtown Chelan, this compact neighborhood spot blends a lively bar, limited indoor tables and a sunny patio, attracting locals with warm, attentive service and a strong tap and cocktail selection. Standout appetizers and adaptable keto options earn praise, though portions sometimes feel small for the price and consistency varies by dish. Outdoor seating is pleasant but can be traffic-noisy; street parking is a block away. It’s a welcoming, Cheers-like casual destination—not upscale dining, but a cozy choice for drinks and small plates.

This is a fantastic restaurant to visit! The food is consistently delicious, with seasonal changes that keep things interesting, and they offer an extensive selection of beers. The atmosphere is lively, whether you're inside catching a football game or outside by the fire pits enjoying the pleasant weather. It's a casual spot, perfect for gathering with friends and enjoying a good meal together. Overall, I rate it: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
This is likely our favorite restaurant in Chelan. The food and drinks are excellent, and the staff is very friendly. There aren’t many tables, so it can be challenging to find a seat. However, they do offer outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Just keep in mind that the outdoor area can be a bit noisy due to traffic, depending on the time and day, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, the service is great for a dine-in dinner experience.
During all the years we’ve visited Chelan, we never tried this restaurant, but this year we decided to give it a shot. The Woodin Noodle Salad and the Smoked Chicken Caesar Salad were both delicious. The staff was friendly, and our food arrived quickly. The front of the restaurant is quite small, but there’s a back room that I didn’t get to see, so I’m not sure how spacious it is. I rated County Line 4 stars because the guitarist/singer was too loud, making it difficult for us to have a conversation.
As for drinks, our table ordered a Bloody Mary, a margarita, and a Tito's and soda. The Bloody Mary was pretty decent and came garnished with beef jerky, salami, a pickle, and an olive. Unfortunately, the margarita was quite disappointing; my friend couldn't even finish it. The Tito's and soda was also underwhelming, as my friend remarked that she couldn't taste any vodka at all. When my friend approached the bar to inquire about her drink, the server responded with quite a bit of unnecessary attitude—she was the same person who had seated us. I typically avoid writing negative reviews because I believe in supporting businesses, but our experience just wasn't enjoyable, so I felt compelled to share. The other servers seemed fine, so I truly hope that others have a better experience than we did.
