Nestled in downtown Chelan, this mid-upscale spot is lauded for expertly crafted cocktails, inventive small plates and a warm, lively atmosphere with sidewalk patio seating. Bartenders draw praise for fast, memorable drinks while rotating menus keep offerings fresh—standouts include banh mi-style tacos and a crab Rangoon dip. Expect busy evenings and occasional sold-out dishes; vegetarian options are limited, and a few guests have reported staff misconduct. Overall, it’s a popular destination for dinners, drinks and group nights.

Was Ed at Layla's a mag?
Pretty good food, we tried the lettuce wraps. Ground seasoned chicken withonions, carrots, mango and garlic. The potstickers were plump and had good flavor. The drinks were decent a Pinot Gris a Bourbon. The service was excellent we left full and happy. View all feedback.
What Matt Senior dislikes about Layla's:
I ordered the Thai red curry, but it had no resemblance to authentic Thai flavors. The dish was mostly rice, taking up about 75% of the plate. After just five bites, there was hardly any chicken left—just a mountain of rice. I'm very disappointed. View all feedback.
Laylas is a warm, inviting atmosphere, with mid-upscale vibes! We came for an app and drinks- The Black Walnut Old Fashioned and the Princess Bride were delicious. The crab Rangoon dip was amazing! We would come back just for this dip.
The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is fantastic. The food was incredible—my husband claimed they serve the best tuna tacos he's ever had! We absolutely love dining here!

Fantastic place for dinner and drinks! We sat outside on their sidewalk patio and enjoyed the ambiance. I tried the Princess Bride cocktail and the Thai Style Red Chicken Curry—both were delightful and bursting with flavor.
We had the best appetizers and salads for lunch at Laylas. Air conditioning saved us from being in the sun all week. Great service. Amazing food. We had edemame and the dipping sauce was so good for those who like some spiciness. My chop salad was so good especially after eating burgers all week at the campground. I will definitely come back to Laylas, service and atmosphere was exactly what we needed after a week of camping!
