The castle of Islette was a real blow of heart! The visit immerses us in this peaceful and warm castle, like the owners we met. The area around it is bucolic and soothing. It is less known than other castles in the region but it is worth visiting, with in the beautiful days the possibility of making a boat ride and rest comfortably along the wateryard. A real jewel! Very nice place. Renaissance style castle still inhabited. We followed the guided tour that brings a lot of things to understand the history of the place. the park is pleasant with benches or bridges to rest. possibility of a boat on the expensive. I recommend!
A very nice castle and a well maintained and pleasant garden where it is possible to picnic. we enjoyed the guided tour and the few words of the owner.
A heart attack for this beautiful castle, well-keptly decorated and intimate, the owners still house there from October to April, there are family photos that give an unprecedented charm to the places. these same places welcomed the love of the claudel and rodin camille sculptors, and we understand why we would stay there overnight. everything is done to make it comfortable, the decks and other seatings near the river are very pleasant. children are delighted with costumes are lent, there are animals, boat rides, charming pic nique with a small basket proposed. the staff is very welcoming, a visit to make!
