Since you are going into the Institute be sure to stop by the ticket window and get a time stamped Purpose Pass. This allows you in for dinner without a gate charge. Dinner was amazing and love all of the eclectic seating. Drinks were amazing and dessert provided by Portage Pies! Altogether amazing! We sat upstairs which was great and there was a jazz group playing. That was a little loud once we got downstairs- but... View all feedback.

The restaurant is too expensive for the quality of food served. It would benefit from a chef who understands how to properly season dishes. While it may be a good spot for drinks in the evening, it falls short as a dining destination. View all feedback.
Delightful lunch upstairs at 2 Ames on this gorgeous Fall Day. Thank you all that created our stellar food and drink!
Eaten here many times this summer and the food was always tasty! Had sandwiches for lunch as well as taco night for dinner! I love the rotating lemonade flavors and the desserts are out of this world.
Very bad experience. we went in a family of 6 blacks/african americans and the hostess and 3 other employees rushed by to tell us that there is no place they are fully booked and have a tonne reservations showed a view of the menu that eating is extremely overpriced.
Absolutely wonderful experience here. The music, the food, the drinks, the service absolutely wonderful. Makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into another era.
Walked a couple of blocks from my hotel and found this place. It turned out it was a lovely meal. We sat on the porch, had a glass of wine, the cheese tray. Super!
