We asked if we could be moved to a different table, but we were told that none were available, despite the fact that there were visibly empty tables in our section. We decided to sit at the bar for a more comfortable seating option. However, during the time we were there, those empty tables remained unoccupied. The service we received at the bar was slow, as the staff seemed overwhelmed. While the food was good, there are many other places in downtown with much better customer service.

We noticed that the fries... read more During our second visit to Stir, we ordered a selection of dishes to share, including truffle fries, shrimp cocktail, and crab bisque. We noticed that the fries were inconsistent, with some being excellent and others not quite right. However, the shrimp cocktail was outstanding, even if I feel it's a bit overpriced. The crab bisque truly elevated our meal and was quite memorable, just like the macaroni and cheese and the grits. Our waiter was attentive and took our feedback about a drink that was too sweet, allowing us to adjust our order. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and definitely deserves another visit. For parking, there's free valet service available next door.
