This place was great! It lives up to the legend of it 's New Orleans home base. And rivals its sister store in Gatlinburg. We had brunch after visiting the aquarium a couple of blocks away. There were 7 of us in total and everyone loved everything they ordered. Eggs cochin was definitely a hit. The French toast bites were a little sweet for me, but the kids loved it. Even the breakfast tacos were simple but delicious... View all feedback.
What Andrea Billadeau dislikes about Ruby Sunshine:
Very average food the menu itself has interesting items but they aren't cooked great. My pancakes were so cold which was disappointing because they pineapple upside down pancakes would have been good if warm or hot. I got the chicken and french toast entre and the french toast literally tasted like croutons, they were so dry and crunched like a crouton. The chicken was tasty though. We put our name on wait list and i... View all feedback.
Visited Sunday September 10, there was an hour wait but we opted to sit at the bar. Grateful we did because we were able to enjoy a more intimate meal. Leann at the bar is a POWERHOUSE back there!! She was friendly and was knocking out tickets left and right! The shrimp Benedict was phenomenal. The only thing I regret is not getting a latte they smelled AMAZING.
Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and especially the service. Coffee, southern breakfast; with biscut with AMAZING butter, eggs, bacon, grits (drool delicious), and topped off with the most tastey seasoned fried green tomato. Eric and Tyler were GREAT servers bar tenders and I appreciated their light humor as well. Thank you for a great morning!! As you can see, it was a struggle, but left nothing behind.Kid-friendliness: Family and friends dining.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter, exit, and at table the chairs can easily be moved for a wheelchair.
Dined in on a Friday AM so it was no line no wait. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was quiet. Coffee made fresh and food came relatively quick. Our food was very good and the serving size plenty. Would recommend this as a go to breakfastspot for sure. Parking is street side so prepare for that.
Please like and follow for more reviews The girls and I were in Tennessee for a cheer competition and decided to try this place out. We were glad we did it did not disappoint. The food was great! The best part was it wasn't a long wait like mostplaces on a Sunday morning for bunch. We tried the fried green tomatoes and the French toast bites for starters. Both werereally good. I must say we had to get the tomatoes done over because they were topped with bacon but they were still good. Theegg Benedict was good if you like poached eggs. The omelet meal was good and you can make your omelet how you want or get oneof the already made ones. I loved the potatoes they were really good. We had mimosas and the burboun drink both incredible!! Trythis place I'm sure you want be disappointed.
