Innside - Chattanooga

This restaurant is the epitome of a classic American diner. The atmosphere was friendly and the other customers were too busy chatting to notice the mediocre food. There is a charming small town vibe despite being located downtown. My only wish is that they would consider upgrading to higher quality ingredients from their supplier.

Despite its unassuming exterior, this restaurant serves excellent food. The owner, who I believe is the proprietor, uses an iPad to take orders and quickly process payments at the table. My husband raved about the biscuits and gravy, claiming they were the best he's ever had. The owner greets every customer with a great sense of humor.

We absolutely love this place! We are looking forward to coming back for another lunch date soon.

The waitress was so over the top rude that I canceled my order and left. She refused to make any eye contact with me the entire time she took my order, pulling these really sour faces instead. I was getting a meal that came with a pick of two sides, which she didn 't even ask me about before storming off toward the back. I had to stop her to remind her that I wanted a side, at which point she said snapped YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME! in a rude as hell manner. Then she goes back behind the counter and makes a crazy person gesture to her coworkers. All Because I *GASP* wanted to pick a side that goes with my own order? ....Given how busy this place always is, I imagine that I either got the bad apple out of the bunch or a waitress who didn 't want to take the order of a trans person. Either way, I 'm never going back.
