At First Watch, they make you take your check up front to pay which is a always... read more The food and our waitress were excellent. The problem came when we checked out. At First Watch, they make you take your check up front to pay which is a always a bit of a pan. It was even more so on this visit. The people (there were 3! yes 3! at the one register in the whole restaurant were incompetent. It took 15 minutes waiting in line just to pay my bill.

Ordered ‘Trifecta’ breakfast and coffee. Service was slower than it should have been for about 11:30 AM. Waited for coffee. Breakfast plate arrived, waffle was... read more Ordered ‘Trifecta’ breakfast and coffee. Service was slower than it should have been for about 11:30 AM. Waited for coffee. Breakfast plate arrived, waffle was so cool that butter wouldn’t melt on it. I ordered over medium eggs and even the whites were runny. Sent waffle back, second one only slightly better. This is not the first time this has happened here. I won’t be back

The seasonal menu is always worth trying, and the biggest advice I can give you is to do the mobile check in before you go. Sometimes the wait can be very lengthy. Picture below was a seasonal dish from earlier this year, crab cakes benedict.
