Not many good Italian restaurants in Chattanooga and it's surrounding areas. Boccaccia is a great one! Great atmosphere, intimate, and calming. Service is good. Food is good, some dishes could use a bit more flavor or Umami maybe?! Overall a pleasant experience and we'll definitely be returning patrons.
Wonderful space and service but I feel like this place has an identity crisis I'm not sure what it's trying to be. The food was okay. My food was bland and disappointing, her food was much better, chicken parmesan. It's unfortunate that the highlight of the meal for my girlfriend was how wonderful the complimentary bread was.
After a little attitude at the door (we did not have a reservation, and it was empty inside) we had a really great meal!!! We would definitely go again.
Enjoyed a winded dinner at Boccaccio. It is smaller so I suggest making reservations. We didn?t have a problem getting one same day. The lasagna is amazing and sells out. Our services was so helpful.
Food is pretty good, but the service is subpar. We were the first customers in, yet the waitress only came to our table about three times. When I asked about a dish for dessert, she said that she thought it may be out for the day, but didn't go back tofind a definite answer. Then when I gave her my card for the bill, she chatted with her coworker, drank her personal beverage,and waited on another table before finally running my card. Overall, it may be worth finding another place to dine if you careabout service.
