What a great find!We stumbled upon this town while on a road trip to the Peninsula. It was like something out of a Stuart McLean book. The pies and hot drinks were all so delicious-looking, I don't know how we settled on our order! Try their specialty drinks, they're worth it. I think I had something with ginger.Make time to go across the street to Great Books. Their books and set-up is just as small-town charming as... View all feedback.
What Ibrahim Ernser doesn't like about Williamsford Pie Company:
I went to my favorite bakery for some cakes and pecan butter tarts, but was left very disappointed. While the crust on the tarts was good, the filling was lacking pecans and mostly syrup. The strawberry rhubarb cake was dry and crumbly. Unfortunately, they were not as great as I had hoped for. View all feedback.
I stopped in for coffee and a pie to go just before close on a Saturday night. The coffee was great but what really stood out was the customer service - both of the people who served me were friendly, efficient, and exceedingly accommodating. They even offered me a sample of their garlic loaf, which I highly recommend.I can't wait to go back!
Everything we tried in this wonderful, friendly establishment was UNBELIEVABLY DELISH. The buttermilk lemon pie was incredible. The coconut and butter tarts were delectable. Our only regret is that we didn't bring home more. They freeze well too! Enjoy.
Not a pie fan so I was reluctant to stop by although I live close by. I judge all places by their coffee and the coffee here is spot on! They serve the Reunion Island coffee and they make it well. I had the Americano Decaf and you would have sworn it was caffeinated it was so good! The variety of sweets was extensive (as was the selection of savories) I have tried several sweets now and my daughter has tried the sausage rolls and she has raved about them. I do recommend the blondies!
Wanting to try this place for several years now and it did not disappoint.....exceptionally friendly staff...happy to offer us some samples....cinnamon buns are delicious and a huge variety of fruit pies available...we loved their lemon buttermilk raspberry pie.We had a sandwich and soup...both were yummy!!This is an old historic building so expect a rustic ambiance within a small and intimate space, baking ovens within view.
Friends said 'you must go' to Williamsford Pie Company when we were visiting Bruce Peninsula - we found the coffee was good, fruit pies were excellent and staff were welcoming. It's much more than pie shop: it's a nice cafe, with a wide range of pastries, and the local post office, too. Well worth visiting.
