Update 27 May 17 Disappointed they drastically reduced pre-made food portion. Slightly less than half filled to the top (see pics below). I took half container off to show the depth which is less than half of the height of the container. It was beef stroganoff. The pre-made salads look the same at this time though. Fruitezy can be counted on to provide the freshest produce they can get their hands on. My missus have been coming here for years to do her groceries and we have never had any cause for complaint. I tagged along this time during the Easter break and found that they were selling prepacked cooked food too, such as all kinds of pasta, soup and of course the obligatory salads. Bought beef stroganoff, slapped on some mashies, lunch sorted for the day. A nice stopover coming back from work, i'd imagine. Or even grabbing one of the healthy pre-made salad or pasta on your lunch break from work.
I always get excited by the vibrant colours of the amazing fruit and vegetables on display at the local fruit shop - Fruit Ezy! There is a melow ambience upon entry after 1pm and you are met by aire of freshness everytime. Its respectable that they stay try to their roots and serve a good variety of apples to make nan proud. For the adventurous, you could try your palate on some dragon fruit, persimmon or longan. There is a good selection of vegetables whether they are in season or not and sensible bulk packaged items that are priced less. This extends to fruits as well. The outside section of this establishment serves to cater for the budget conscious and generally offers lower grade fruits. Despite the inferior appearance and sizes, the freshness is sustained and it's a great alternative to their more well groomed cousins inside who have made it to the big time. Nestled amongst the nooks and crannies of the shop are deli items such as dried pasta, organic products to Passata an canned tomatoes on shelfs below the display. In fact Fruit Ezy Chatswood is a deli in itself with an excellent variety of gourmet products on offer from cheeses, dips, jams, spreads, salami to almost everything you could find in a gourmet deli of a small country town. They sell freshly squeezed juices that are convenient and affordable as well as the recently opened florist section where the flowers are much cheaper than any other florist around. The staff could be a bit aggressive with their trolleys on their way to refill the stations but they are a master at their trade and never make contact with the customer. The ladies at the counter are very efficient and friendly and it is commendable that they manage the busier periods very well by have the counters well staffed. However, don't be naive and assume that the prices are cheaper here for all fruit and veggies as Coles specials are often much cheaper so it pays to be savvy. Also, be sure not to take photos here as it's strictly prohibited as they might lose their monopoly in the centre.

The juice bar is a bit on the pricey side for a small bottle but the freshly cracked coconuts are the best way to get coconut water. Great for hydration and contains less sugars than fruit juices. I took mine to accompany my noodles at the food court - great combo!
Fruitezy is a good place to get food, as I feel that fruit and vegetables are fresher there. they also have some others and we have a delicious vegan spread that they are dip or simply on their sandwich (what we did and it was so good! they always make it a point to stop for the veggies!
