Well I have been in Sydney for the long time , but this is the place that quenched my thirst for the vegetarian indian food.
Not many people work in this place, but with limited number of working hands,hospitality is good and so is turn around time of getting your dish served on the table .
Taste is awesome,fabulous and specially breads and curries.
I would always recommend this restaurant for Indian food... View all feedback.
What Mireya Will doesn't like about Banaras Indian:
Absolutely poor customer service.
We were a group of 15 people everyone was on banquet ($23 pp) . Obviously there would be a lot of left overs. And guess what no take away allowed!!! Even after insisting. That means they actually serve leftovers to customers. We are never going back to this resturant. They didnt even serve pickle, raita and salad as mentioned in the banquet menu. View all feedback.
I live about 20 minutes north of this place, but was in the neighborhood running errands and needed lunch.
3rd time here This food is so incredible! Had Peshawari lamb tikka, Lebanese chicken kebob, Punjab boti chicken, and steak beef burger.
Craving for Indian food made me land to this place. Ambience is decent as well as the service. Wlwe ordered the aloo chat which I loved for its flavours. For the main course we had kofta with naan which was not bad too. Since I stay in chatswood, love for Indian food will surely take me back to this place. Food - 3/5 Ambience - 3/5 Quantity - 3/5 Service - 3/5 Value for money - 3/5
Good is good and the hospitality is perfect. Best Indian food I got in the area. The manager is very friendly and the chef makes sure that the dishes are customised as per your preference.
